Best Friends Yet so Different
My boys are so funny. Batman LOVES to be under a blanket. If he won't come sit on my lap, I can just grab a blanket and cover up and he'll run right over. Dexter is the opposite. He hates blankets. He gets caught under them and can't get himself out. He's fallen off the couch a couple times while being tangled in a blanket.

I'm terrible and I know it...
I know, I'm horrible at blogging! I got this new, great computer, and had all these plans to constantly update my blog. And then I didn't. I'm sorry. I've been a little preoccupied with things lately. Things being: trips out of town, painting my house (!), watching basketball, covering events for work and just wanting to spend my down time on the couch with my puppy. I'm hoping to get better though.
Something awesome and crazy happened recently- I found someone else who has a Boston Terrier named Batman! I was on Pinterest, looking at pictures of dogs, and there was one of a Boston with the caption, "My Batman." I got so excited! I commented on her photo and told her I have a Batman Boston as well, and now we follow each other on Pinterest. (I love other Boston lovers!)
I'll leave you today with a cute Batman hug picture. He decided to be super sweet the other day and cuddle extra close with me on the couch.

Missing my little man...
I am in Dodge City right now for work. I left yesterday late morning, and I'll be home tonight. I miss my Batman so much!! Last night in the hotel I was watching TV and a Boston was in a commercial- it made me so sad!! I can't wait to get back to my favorite boys! (Boys being Batman, Dexter and Alex.)

Best Buddies
Batman and Dexter could not be better friends. They love each other! When they play, they get pretty rough sometimes, and that makes me nervous. But then when they calm down, they lay down and cuddle together. It's so stinking cute!
We bought the boys matching sweaters for Christmas. They both fought when we were trying to put them on, but once they're on they don't seem to notice them.

We're Back!
The last couple months have been super busy at work, so I haven't had time to update this blog. When I'm at work, I have to log out of my e-mail to log into this blog, and I just can't make myself do that. I purchased a laptop tonight, so now I can update at home!
Batman is still being wonderful. We've gotten completely used to him sleeping downstairs in his pin. I'm sleeping through the night, and I think he is, too. Best of all, Dexter is used to it, so he doesn't bark or whine at night. (Woo Hoo!)
Alex and I have taken the boys on a few walks around our new neighborhood, and they LOVE it! Batty stays in the front and pulls us along. Dexter tends to get distracted and we have to pull him along. It's really fun for the boys, and I really enjoy it!
Since I just got this laptop, I don't have any of my pictures on it. I'll get some updated soon!

Sorry it's been so long...
I know it's been about a month since my last post. We have started using GMail at work, which is what I use for this blog. But I have a different work log in, so if I want to post to my blog, I have to log out of all my work stuff and log in here. I feel bad about doing it at work, and that's really the only time I'm on the computer. Work isn't very busy right now, so I figured I'd catch you guys up.
Christmas is just around the corner and things have been busy!! Our house is all decorated, inside and out. Batman isn't interested in the holiday decorations, but Dexter likes to eat presents so we have to keep an eye on him. Things with Dexter have been great the last couple days. Thank goodness, because before that he was a devil dog!! He isn't potty trained, and the training hasn't been going well. I bleached and mopped all our floors last week because I was so disgusted. OF COURSE we clean up after every accident, but just the idea that there was dog mess on the floor makes me sick. Alex spends his days at home with the boys, and he's been doing a good job training Dexter. He is only having one or two accidents in the house each day, which is amazing. We've decided to start having the pups sleep in their kennels. (We started this last night.) They didn't seem to mind. Grandma Williams bought them each a great big cozy bed that we've put in their kennels. They spend a lot of time in there now on their own- I think they love them! Since I go to bed much earlier than Alex each night, I take the boys out before I go to bed, and Alex takes Dexter out before he goes to bed. Dex hasn't had an accident at night since we started this.
Batman and Dexter are absolutely best friends! I get nervous sometimes because they play rough, but they love each other. Dexter was being loud and destructive the other night, so I put him downstairs with Alex while Batman and I went upstairs to sleep. Batman sat by the bedroom door and whined. And whined. And whined. He hates being away from Dexter.
Of course, there's still jealousy. If one of the dogs is sitting with me on the couch, the other one has to be there, too. If Batman is playing on the floor and has NO interest in cuddling with me, all I have to do is pick up Dexter and Batman is attached to me! I love it!
Here are some recent pictures of the boys. (And one of me and Batman matching in our Christmas outfits.) We bought the pups matching sweaters- both because I want them to be warm and because they are super adorable! Also, you can see that they are ALWAYS cuddling up together!! So cute!
